Appreciate the variety of colors made available on this umbrella. It is very easy to assemble and to operate. This is our first experience with this lighter weight fabric material. Will hold judgement until we have time to see how it holds up.The primary reason I purchased another one of these umbrellas was that the color had faded since 2019, and looked teal instead of dark green, no longer matching my pillows and hammock. These things happen, however...the actual umbrella no longer looks like a market umbrella and looks like a rain umbrella, but also has the addition of these unattractive silver screws on the outside of the umbrella. Also, the last was opaque. The newer version is not opaque. This is a very different umbrella than the amazing one I received in 2019. However, the rest of the umbrella is very sturdy, including the post, the crank and the tilt feature. These features are great for the price. Because the umbrella now looks cheap, I will pay more for an L.L.Bean umbrella so that it lasts a long time, does not fade quickly and hides the hardware. The 2019 version of he umbrella was amazing, so I assumed I would get the same great product. I don't know why they switched to this less attractive style.Material part of this umbrella is not nice and heavy for sun protection like most similarly priced umbrellas are. I’m disappointed!!This umbrella is very strong and easy to put up and take down. I especially like the way you can secure it in the closed position with a clip that’s sewn on instead of strings to tie it shut. However Beware: it took forever to arrive.This umbrella is very nice and we should have ordered two of them as we have two tables within close proximity. They were out of stock when I wanted to order another one. I couldn't find an exact match anywhere. The color RED is quite vague and anything that isn't exactly the same color maroon, certainly clashes. We had to go with a straw one.I purchased this umbrella based on the good reviews in the winter and took it out when it got warm. The umbrella is really sturdy and well built. It is super easy to assemble.The reason for the 3 stars is that I took it out on April and it is now July and it started to fade already- so disappointed about thatThis umbrella is a very good buy. The price is great and the quality is good. Easy to set up. Seems sturdy.Opens and closes easily, nice to be able to clip it together when closed. The material seems good, could be a little heavier, filters out a fair amount of sunshine. Time will tell how long it lasts, maybe not as long as the Sunbrella fabric, but at a much lower price point.I bought this a year ago and am very pleased with the purchase. It hasn't faded, has withstood the season's rain and it's still sturdy and operational.I ordered 2 of these last spring for use over the summer in Ontario, Canada. They were originally bright red, they have both faded so badly they are now a washed out pink with fade lines from when they are down and folded. Both umbrellas need to be replaced. I contacted Abba Patio, they do not have replacement fabric for the umbrellas and could not do anything for me. They told me to contact Amazon as they were the product seller. I have had no luck finding a number to contact Amazon. A very disappointing product, I would not recommend it or purchase it again.Very sturdy and functional I purchased a base made for it but needed to reinforce stand with longer pipe to avoid tipping in windy weather, works good now. Problem is the red colour material has faded badly to make it look very old and worn! Advertised as colour fast and UV protected. This is not the case at all! For $200 canadian dollars I expected better quality in material!I am very happy with the quality of this umbrella and how easy it is to open and close. The colour (turquoise) is perfect -- just the shade I wanted. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.Based on the price, I was expecting a flimsy, off-color parasol I'd use for the summer only, but not so. The color was exactly as advertised and the bar is very sturdy. Very good value for the money.We love our umbrella, if we know there is a storm or high winds coming, we close it so I can't say if it is good in high winds. We will store it dry & covered in our garage. Covers our round table nicely, kept the harsh sun off of us, would buy this umbrella again, noticed our neighbors have the same one.
