Bottom line: this is a great folding chair!Pluses:It’s sturdy and stable. Folding is easy once you follow the directions. (The folding is more like how a wheelchair folds that like how old-fashioned lawn chairs fold. In other words, its folds side to side instead of top to bottom.) The side table is a nice perk. It provides a good place for your phone, a drink, or a resting place to keep your handbag off the ground. The table does have a weight limit so it not a place for a child to perch. It is portable and lighter than many of the other sturdy folding chairs. You would not want anything heavier. The solid arms are comfortable, and they are strong enough to use for support when standing up or sitting down. It is the perfect chair to take to the sidelines of a child’s soccer game.Cons: It does not fold to a tiny bundle like an umbrella style folding chair that you can sling over your back with a carrying strap. It is too bulky and heavy to be a chair for backpacking. It is more suited to car camping, picnicking, or sports fields.I would be embarrassed to tell you how much time I spent comparing chairs on Amazon and considering which would be best. It's very sturdy and sits high which makes it easy to get out of for anyone with bad knees. The storage pocket on the side is also a nice touch for carrying car keys, etc.Unlike other cheaply made aluminum foldable chairs, this one is pre-assembled, structurally strong, and designed very well. Unlike steel framed chairs that weigh 25+ pounds and are not carry-friendly, this EVER ADVANCED aluminum chair weighs less than 10 pounds, including a built-in side table with cup holder for snack and your favorite beverage. The side table stows snugly to the side when not needed so it is out of the way when you want your chair to sit immediately next to another chair. My son is a big guy and fits in this chair comfortably without feeling the chair was too tight nor wobbly like other more flimsy aluminum chairs. The chair is a director style camp chair that is taller in nature. The bottoms are a continuous piece of aluminum so no fear of dirt getting into a screwed together joint like some other chair designs. While slightly more expensive than some other chairs, it was still under a hundred dollars so a reasonable cost for a product that should last you a lifetime.material feels more supportive compared to other chairs Seat is good height for those of us with bad knees.
