Sturdy pieces, easy to assemble. Check table surface for irregularities, (like scratches or adhesive from tape and labels), that you may want to put at the front/back of the base opening. The surface is medium-strong weight, holds up to applied pressure, edges rounded and smooth finishes on each end.Great utilitarian table. If decor matters: leg galvanized steel has blue cast; connectors are light gray plastic-metal. I'm happy to be surprised by the quality against the cost and ease of assembly. Would buy again, definitely.I'm using this as a kitchen prep space Very sturdy. They wrapped it up very thoroughly in a film to prevent scratches, but there were scratches on it immediately upon setting it up, before we even really used it, but I think this is just how stainless steel is.I bought casters separately and with those it was much less sturdy and taller than counter height which can be uncomfortable to work on, so I don't recommend casters.It is best to have 2 people to put it together. The trick to getting the bottom shelf to be level is to find something of the correct height (we used 4 uniformly sized wood pieces) for it to sit on while you secure the 4 corners.As other have mentioned the middle shelf is galvanized not stainless. Also, the "stainless" used on the surface is highly magnetic. Meaning this is ferritic stainless (409/430) and will have a higher corrosion rate. Typical high end commercial stainless appliances use austenitic steel alloy and will resist rust and corrosion much better. (and magnets will not stick) Still a beautiful table though, I only intended on using the surface, as you can see from the pic.Its not high quality stainless steel. Its starting to rust after 3 months under a covered porch.Aside from some interior roughness, this is a very solid and heavy table. I have a long narrow kitchen that only has a small amount of counter space on one side. Super high traffic area for being so narrow, and there is no dining room in the house. Plus stainless steel dishwasher, fridge, and oven, dark faux wood counter tops, and dark faux wood floors. So I really needed a bright spot that complimented the surroundings without being too house specific so it could be moved and reused later in another house.So this is my new dining table! In the kitchen. Therefore also my kitchen counter. Really needed this switch hitter to be durable and functional. It goes fine with some assorted bar stools I have of varying height. I'm definitely looking at getting a second one and being able to make a longer table when you put them together end to end, or be able to have more counter space on the side, or make a 30 x 36 almost square table. This 18x30 is a good size and holds two peoples plates and cups with a little room in the center. I might bump up to three tables for parties.After working in kitchens, I got pretty use to the style of no cabinets, only easy grab, easy clean space. Would recommend it for other parents too. My kids have already smashed brownies into the lower shelf, and I got it up with just a swipe of a sponge. Reminds me of spilling vats of liquids back in the day and being able to clean up up in the middle of a shift with no probs.Just like the real ones, I'm using bleach water and a hot rag for wipe downs on it, with a steel sponge to get the crusties loose. Use the green sponge and it'll score the surface, butttt.... Kind of inevitable. The shiny scratch pattern just becomes the patina.I'd love to get a second one, give me another for this review and I'll add photos lolOur table arrived in a beautiful condition. Legs, shelf, and top are all stainless steel. Unfortunately, the adjustable feet were tapped into the legs really well and that forced us to really pull (with pliers) on them to pop them out. The feet are trashed but the casters fit perfectly and the table is now able to roll around with ease. It's a commercial SS table, so I wasn't expecting a highly polished work of art. However, all of our edges are in great shape and the shelf and top are dent- and scratchless.Now, if only they would answer their phone to take an order for an extra shelf for the table...their voicemail is full (?), they haven't replied to my email request, and their website shows that additional shelves are available; however, there is no "add to cart" button on the page. :|I Like the table sturdy, easy to clean. The only thing is the casters make it a little to high to work comfortably for a 5’ person, so just took off the casters.I needed a work table of a specific size for a 3D printer. The 36" x 30" version is perfect. Assembly was not too difficult, but you will want a better hex driver than the one they include. It's metric, by the way. I found the protective plastic film hard to remove - taking longer than assembly. Wish they would use a less aggressive adhesive on the film. One more note. The plastic feet for adjusting the height have a sharp feature on the very bottom that will scratch vinyl or wood floors. No problem for a cement or tile floor, but I added felt furniture pads to prevent damage to my office floor.
